Will the comic book languishes in the doldrums, Fear TWD second half of the TV series just begins and is rather good, was hoping for that road trip back to Alexandria, but that doesn't look likely from the chat in Talking Dead  :-X

Oh, Colin- never forget the Trout is Evil.

You may be waiting a while for his fishy majesty to cease toying with you.

New run of Britannia: Lost Eagles of Rome was off to a decent start last week. New artist but not too jarring a change and no surprise that the sexy gladiatrix from the last series is press-ganged into the team.

That's got my interest... never saw the first run, has it been collected?

Just missed the last copy of The Valiant in FP yesterday, so going to order it online, meanwhile picked up the latest issues of Sherlock Holmes; Vanishing Man, Anolog and Whitchfinder, all good stuff.

What, you aren't at the party?

You're such a feckin blabbermouth Sharky- we all agreed last Thursday that Bolt and Frank weren't invited.

Damn. At least let me know which one of you had to eat the soggy biscuit.*

* My money's on Jimbo

I'm assuming you're an old RAF man from that reference  :-X... happy days in the (Eatin) Mess.

It would be great if all the main Giant stories were gathered... a but like the Dan Francisco floppy,
Or indeed if he had his own series in the Megazine

Please add the strap online

You missed out the strapline and cover artist!  War on the Law! by Adam Brown

yeah, sorry about that I read it Monday night and that info escaped me  :-\

I'm torn between thinking Dredd is doing a fully fledged Dusty impersonation and or a Disco Diva dance to 'I am what I am'

Megazine / Meg 399.
« on: 15 August, 2018, 12:08:18 pm »

So a cover of Dredd doing his Zumba class also...
smart-drug addiction on a university campus in "Brain Drain"; Devlin Waugh's in "Kiss of Death"; "The Returners" will be; Chopper battles to save Oz in "Wandering Soul", and there's the climax of the special Strange Brigade story that is the highlight of the Meg.  and in the bagged supplement this month, Judge Dredd: The Lost Cases, untold tales from the lawman's greatest adventures, scripted by Alan Grant, and featuring the art of David Roach, Anthony Williams, PJ Holden,

All well and good, total oppsite APU of the current Prog.

Huzzah! the prog arrives and my eye is constantly drawn to that gap above the L and A in the speech balloon...
At least there are no crossbars!

Dredd nicely wrapped up an a sneak appearance of Terry Gilliam
Dredd suffering from a lack of gravitas, but apart from that  cracking artwork.

I must admit nothing else in the prog catching my eye, vaguely following stories but nothing with a hook for me.
Glad to see the Bitch is back but that's all a bit MCU for me.
