I'd decided to give up on the Fear TWD and TWD on telly as the endless downbeat, of set up and knockdown was getting wearing... then suddenly FearTWD has pick up and there's a bit more life about it, except Nick getting killed along with his cash crop, looks like its got its mojo back, also enjoying the Talking Dead Fear edition, BT showing it without Ads which is great.

I actually bought this last week and a right hefty read it is too, like John McShane Toxic piece and a couple of other bits, there's a load of Dredd/2000ad stuff in there, cant see them keeping up the v high levels of comic stuff on display unfortunately.

recommended

I liked Tim Burton's Batman, my fav of all of the movies actually.

I like that the 2012 Dredd didn't have the whole Boss fight thing that ruins every other action movie and a lot of Marvel ones too IMHO.

Most movies now have a big fight, an even bigger fight then a huge fight...yawnnn

I think Dredd got it right with the tension, humour and social... bring on the TV series!!

I was working Saturday so got my hands on one, read it, enjoyed the Cadet JD the bestest.

Was in a friends communal garden on Saturday night, so passed it on to a youngling of about seven years old (specs and an Avengers t-shirt) he csat and read it cover to cover and took it away with him... Nice one Tharg!

Text and images together to tell a story? that's never going to work!

Prog / Re: Prog 2076 - Divide + Conquer!

To finish there is a letters page, with a couple of letters echoing what seems to be a widely held opinion that the stories since 2073 have been great, if what immediately preceded that wasn't to everyone's taste.

I saw that - one especially was very articulate and perceptive.

It was me (what, you guessed?) first since way back in Prog 2020. Got the fever again. The letters fever!

You mean your allowed crayons and paper again?!
