Work on the Blitzspear will begin shortly!

In the meantime, here's the 2000 AD logo from the "Classic" era...http://www.iol.ie/~carrollm/classic2000adlogo.jpg">

The best (only?) Manta to use is the one Ian Gibson did as a star scan.........

Either that or it was some other flying Judge type thingy.... :-s

Hey Mike- time to start designing models of the ABC Warriors, might give Rebellion an idea?

Mike Carroll

Here's the Blitzspear so far... And probably about as far as I'm going to take it! I got seriously fed up trying to figure out the colours and all the little fiddly bits: it seems like every time Mr O'Neill draws a Blitzspear he changes it!

Cheers,
Mike

Just a thought- you should get together with Steve(I think?) and combine your model with his 3D Nemesis

Well, Seth is a living creature encased in armour plating...

Another great job though.

Looks good. Though I have been told myself that it's a puce ( Green like.) colour when I had origiannly drawn a yellow one.

Not really sure about the red fins on the nose.
Nice touch but.

Lookin' good, Mike!  The colour scheme seems to match the Starscan from Prog 187, ThyllSeekyr.http://www.2000adonline.com/covers/scans/mediumres/187.jpg">

That's excellent, Mike. Bloody fast, too!
Dan Dare will return for a new adventure soon, Earthlets!

Thanks, guys!

I'm still not sure whether the bit between the horns is a window or a panel with all sorts of electronic gubbins, but I went for a window because it was easier.

there was some sort of membrane there that Nemesis had to break through..to the cockpit

Someone here had a scan of that origin story...
