The Tales from Beyond Science collection is marked down as being in comic shops on February 13th.

Quote from: douglaswolkOne addition: the long-delayed "Tales from Beyond Science" collection (eight stories from '92 and '93, all drawn by Rian Hughes) is apparently finally coming out from Image in the U.S. next week!

Looks like I wasn't far off on this coming out. Also, Amazon.co.uk are listing a hardback of this at £4.49 and the paperback at £11.69.

Well the hardback is supposed to be limited edition, so if you're into speculating....

Yike meant to do this a few days ago but pesky work and family life just keep getting in the way of good honest nerding. Damnit.

Anyway all corrections welcome.

Thx for the list, very handy.

But i have a format question about Dredd Origins: There is any difference between the Rebellion release we have now on stock and the American one?. Everyplace i see the american version, it states it has 192 pages, while the Rebellion one says it has 160 pages.

I answer myself: the 2000ad store page says 192. The 160 is an error from Amazon. So it's the same deal. :-[
Ah, Henry Peter Gyrich -- I should'a guessed. Tell me -- do you National Security Council Guys get a cheaper rate buyin' those sunglasses in bulk?

mogzilla

got my day of chaos ordered and only a few months till part 2? excewllent and trifecta as well? mr tharg you are spoiling us!

does molcher evr think we will see 'return to armageddon'? is there the old copyright issues weve seen before or what ? pllleeeaassee molcher tell us something

DrJomster

Yes please to "Return to Armageddon"!

I heard Pat Mills mention on the ECBT interview recently that Meltdown Man had done really well as a trade. I reckon RtA would do the same. Every time it comes up, there are always a load of boarders piping up with a "Yes please, Mr Tharg".
The hippo has wisdom, respect the hippo.

The Adventurer

I don't know why, but the typo in Age of the Wolf (Age of the Wof) keeps making me think of 'Age of the Woof'. And makes me lol.

THIS SPACE INTENTIONALLY LEFT BLANK

Hawkmumbler

All the hype on Return to Armageddon had better be worth it, i'm prity interested to say the least. Expecting some Dark Star style sci-fi 'horror'.

Rogue Trooper: War Machine - June 2013

just seen a listing for Rogue Trooper: War Machine at Amazon.co.uk

http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/1781081328/ref=s9_simh_gw_p14_d0_i1?pf_rd_m=A3P5ROKL5A1OLE&pf_rd_s=center-2&pf_rd_r=0TC42HKSR78F0H60Y41E&pf_rd_t=101&pf_rd_p=358549767&pf_rd_i=468294

My first thoughts ware, what a lovely drawing by Henry Flint and brilliant logo design, & then realized it Dave Gibbons & Will Simpson first outing of friday that is been reprinted and was wondering why is will Simpsons work been used on the cover as he is the artist of all the book?

Would this be a temporary cover till it ships or something like that?

IndigoPrime

I've been wondering the same regarding that book. All I can imagine is either that's a temporary cover or they can't find anything appropriate by Simpson for the cover. The latter would certainly be a pity.

You would have thought a redesign of these would have been in order:

http://www.2000ad.org/functions/cover.php?choice=687&Comic=2000ad

The gatefold version of that last cover would work especially well as a book cover.
