That is stunning. Is it an original piece for the cover? If not (like the others we've seen) where is it from?

Is it just me, or does that Carlos cover look alarmingly like he reffed Commando Forces forum avatar for Dredd's profile...?

Cheers

Its an original piece, Colin. As is all the IDW work Carlos has produced.

Cool. By the way just to be clear when I said other we've seen I was referring to the other complete collection covers Bolland and Cam Kennedy and I have to be honest I thought the other Carlos one.

Think up to now, only the Cam Kennedy cover art is something that has been published before. But definitely the cover art for the Carlos Ezquerra collections Volumes 1 and 2 was created specifically for those collections.

Bollands was an older piece wasn't it?

That was exactly what I thought when I posted it last night. I was even going to post this:

I think it's mainly down to the hairy chin.

Rumour has it that when Mr. Ezquerra retires, Tharg will turn Dredd into a weekly photo story with CF playing the lead role.

The writer and artist list is very intriguing. Anything else of this?

O Lucky Stevie!

Grant Morrison but not a Future Shock you say?

Hmmmm...

That's either Danger: Genius At Work or the utterly brilliant with John Ridgway art Candy & the Catchman.

The former was reprinted in Extreme Edition 21 so fingers crossed that it's Candy.
