Nearly two pages of discussion on one cover, and no ones pointed out it's a corcker yet. You lot are spoilt!

I'm still not seeing Defoe's mask - just looks like a dark blob to me.

Squint really hard and you can see the eye slots and nose guard.  And TordelBacks right, it is Zombo's thong, I though that red thing was part of Helm.

All the items in the foreground are listed in the back of the collection.

Mike Perkins did a fantastic job.

There's a name for people like you, Keith.

Now I'm scared! The ABC cover is just a placeholder btw.

Wait until you see the new Devlin Waugh Swimming in Blood cover - amazing.

IndigoPrime

I'm so looking forward to Swimming in Blood. The Devlin Waugh trades were horribly disappointing, with SiB being a mess from a repro standpoint (moiré city) and Red Tide missing a load of captions. The character deserves so much better, and I'm thrilled Waugh will be getting a second go. Maybe I'll finally be able to give away my Hamlyn collection!

Mike Perkins did a fantastic job.

Not to mention his other achievement, forever immortalised in poetry.  You know, that time when he ate 80 gherkins and pickled his internal workin's.

The Prodigal

2000 AD Presents Sci-fi Thrillers [Paperback) released in December 2013.

Is this one worth mentioning as a Chrimbo present folks? It looks like a hefty chunk of thrill power.

I'm picking it up just for Tribal Memories. If Senior Tordle's word is anything to go buy it should be a classic.

It is. It most definitely is.

Do we know if any of the old Nikolai Dante strips will be reprinted?

Looks like Prion are releasing a paperback version of their 2009 hardback:

Best of Judge Dredd: Classic strips from the galaxy's greatest judge

The Best of 2000 AD is Prion Books' latest sci-fi comic strip offering and will be a dream come true for an entire generation of manboys who grew up with one of the world's greatest ever crimesolvers. Judge Dredd is the future's most famous law enforcement officer bar none. He has graced the pages of the generation-defining cut sci-fi comic 2000 AD for over 30 years and now also features in his own Judge Dredd Megazine.

Prion Books, 288 pages, paperback, 13th March 2014

Er, manboys?  Is that a typo for fanboys, or something from Thailand I don't want to know about?  And I love the fact that Dredd "now also features" in his own Megazine, like it's only been running for a fortnight.

Also, at 288 pages, it's 16 pages shorter than the hardback version.  Does that mean Prion have decided some of their selections weren't the best after all?
