Bad news Colin. I don't want to rub it in but you probably missed a blinder of a gig.

Oh I know - that's why we risked the high windy road crossing when we knew there was a high risk of rain (well we were going to Manchester) in a windscreen wiper free car.

Love a bit of live JSB Explosion.

Definitely Not Mister Pops

Very excited for the Cathedral Quarter Arts Festival in Belfast this year.

I'm going to see De La Soul and MARTHA AND THE VANDELLAS!
You may quote me on that.

Nice and WOW. Saw De La Soul a few years ago and they were great.

Richmond Clements

Drive-By Truckers in Glasgow in a couple of weeks! Woohoo!

May 22nd: Electric Eel Shock

Cult noisy metallic punk hard rock trio whose pronunciation is as loose as their energetic performances. Tickets for this are only £8 so this seems more in my range! :D

So these guys are still on the go and still have nearly-naked drummer too...jeez must have saw them in Limerick about 7 years ago now before the recession pretty much killed the gig scene here.

Black Sabbath, Faith No More and Soundgarden at Hyde Park on July 4th!

Can't wait!   :)

I'm really hoping Faith No More do their own show in London while they are here.

Just announced (or recently anyway) Orange Goblin are around at the end of October :D

No Brighton show? :-(

Well jealous of that Soundgarden/Faith No More doubler! Can't make it along, but saw FNM on the last reunion tour and they were absolutely blinding, totally on fire.

Got Nine Inch Nails and Mogwai gigs both this month so very excited. Both bands are always pretty amazing live.

The Mogwai show is in Canada and just happened to be on while we're on holiday over there so figured why not! The irony of travelling from Glasgow to Canada and going to see a Glasgow band while we're there feels pretty good.

Fields of The Nephilim, December 6th, Shepherds Bush Empire.  :D

I will hopefully be seeing Hawkwind, Karma To Burn and John Cooper Clarke later in the year too as well as taking Mrs Albion to see Passenger.

Awesome choices Albion, hopefully seeing some of those meself if cashflow improves any - already missed out on some choice gigs this month :(
