Unwanted texts

I've just discover I've been charged 5 x 33p for text messages I have no knowledge of. I don't know the number (##### ######) and cannot find any texts to or from that number.  Anyone know how I can block this number on an iPhone?

ignore that - mystery solved!

Turns out it was my friend's number (didn't recognise it in numbers as phone show he name) - she lost her phone with all her contacts so I used the "share contact" function to send her numbers of some mutual friends. despite being on an unlimited free-text contract this cost me 33p each. Bastards!
