I just got an email from the Mighty One, telling me all about the next Meg and how I'm getting a special cover.

So what? Bet you all did.

Thing is, he sent it to my home e-mail and I only gave him my hotmail account.

Truly, his powers know no end!

Well surely there's a story about a reconciliation with his missus? (I think her name was Two Tonne Sadie Suggs or something similar). Remember her? THey got hitched in the 1984 Dredd Annual, and she double crossed him on a bank job then dumped him by bopping him on the head with the maul she carried about.

Classy burd.

Aarr. Siver me timbers, 'tis a pirate's life for me.

(Apart from the eye patch - it's a bummer for the old depth perception)

Those two could sort out Sin Dex, and make it a hell of a lot more interesting. (The other two could get involved as well, fnarr).

The ultimate crossover: Sin Dex v Nautipuss.

Which double endtendre double team will win?

I should add that's Bath St, Glasgow.

I was also kicked out Es Paradis in Ibiza (before it was trendy/ louty) about 10 years ago for falling asleep (pissed) in a bowl of cashew nuts.

And Mrs X was kicked out Archaos, a club in Glasgow, on her 21st birthday for (a) being sick behind a cushion; (b) being sick over a balcony; and (c) falling asleep. My brother and I had to carry her out.

Classy burd, my wife.

If Wake isn't getting every little post e-mailed to him.

And if people are kill-filing others.

Then will no one see me pick my nose?

OOooohhh. And it's a big greener too.

I'd settle for the scripting gig on Dredd, and adulation on this board for the result.

I saw this when I was about 9 and it really scared me.

Haven't seen it since, but I see it's got a James Cameron connection...

could it be as good as Piranha 2: Flying Fish?

Off Topic / Re: Alien Quadroligy (sp? word?).....
17 September, 2003, 02:59:17 PM
S'not me calling it a quadrilogy - it's 20th Century Fox. I know it's wrong!

Seems not worth giving up the current box then, as the deleted scenes from Alien are already in the exisitng box... AND it can't be much of a director's cut coming out because in the commentary to the deleted scenes, Scott says he cut the man-into-egg scene himself cos he thought it made the film slower and wasn't needed.

Surely it's not all a cynical cash in?

And the alternative ending to the fourth one is on the new DVD, but that won't redeem it from the odd half-born cack - is it only me, or is the idea that Ripley herself can impregnante a queen rather odd, even for sci-fi?
