Enjoying Dredd and Demon Nic. Rather ho-hum about the other strips and very ho-hum about all the Dr Who related content.

Apex edition arrived today - it really is a thing of beauty.

Each page has insights on the layouts and story progression, there's a lovely extras section at the back and the sheer size of it is a real treat.

I was a bit doubtful about buying this as I was annoyed with Tharg when I shelled out for the collected Zenith (thinking it was going to be the only chance to get a Zenith collection) only to find out shortly after about the cheaper 3 part edition - but I have to say I'm glad I did. 

Don Uggie looks fantastic, you really do have a talent for this.  In keeping with the minor characters so far, how about a Grobbendonk..?

Yes, more John Higgins - on anything really, but Dredd in particular.

Also loved the flashback and comedy in this weeks Dredd, it's really on a roll at the moment. 'Winter is Coming'.

Jaegir and Helium continue to thrill and Outlier to baffle.

Especially enjoying Dredd at the moment. If Mega City 1's bad luck continues though, there won't be any Judges left (or perps or cits for that matter).  MC1 will have the population of a small English town at this rate, with the Judges waving hello and popping round to see the citizens for a cuppa.. Dredd of Dock Block Green!

The prog's great at the moment and love that cover - bonus oil rations all round for the droids!

Beautiful piece there by Davis and that Ezquerra Dredd from SDCC packs a real punch!
