Right, does anybody who isn't too busy shagging or drinking with proper mates fancy having a get together to talk about comics, in particular, 2000ad?

You don't have to dress up like them Southern Softies seem to get off on.

As usual pile in with dates, venues and then excuses.
Be excellent to each other. And party on!

The Enigmatic Dr X

Yes.

29 March - we can link up remotely with them softies.

Auctioneers or The Variety (what with these being the only two places we have ever successfully met)
Lock up your spoons!

Is March 29th the actual birthday? I didn't realise that would be the day.

Rather brilliantly, and predictably, I can't make it that weekend as I have just remembered I'm at a birthday party in Leeds.

COMMANDO FORCES

We chose that date after posting two dates on our Facebook page. Quite quickly the 22nd date was dropped, after a couple of people couldn't make that date. Once we confirmed the 29th we posted an event on facebook and started the thread on here!

Having the Facebook page brings in Dredd and 2000AD fans who don't frequent the forum.

Skullmo

It's a joke. I was joking.

COMMANDO FORCES

Just search for 2000AD Southern Contingent Gathering and you'll find us ;)

Yeah, yeah, yeah.

It's not the organising bit that is fun, it's the attending.

No. Cover date: 26th February 1977.

Does anyone want to hear my tedious excuse for not attending events in Scotland again?!

Crikey! We don't want any old riff-raff turning up. Cosh's Mum has some standards.
