Looks fine to me. Not sure what else was expected from a cartoon for kids - and as a hard reboot is is aimed at kids with the nostalgics who liked the original a tertiary concern at best.
Not as impressive as Advent's Children, but still a cut above a lot of the other CGITV efforts of the last few years.

Whether it's CGI or not is irrelevant. The character redesigns are bland and uninteresting, there's way too much pointless slow motion going on, Lion-O is now incredibly annoying and it's got that whole orange and teal thing going on. It looks both boring and irritating to me.

New cartoon series looks far more interesting and will definitely have more of a chance of appealing to kids.
