I generally like Dredd, Fiends & occasionally the Black museum.

Most of the current meg articles were taken up by film reviews/discussions.

I think the film reviews are crap, skimpy, pointless & obvious filler. Better off without them as I can get decent film reviews on the net.
My feeling is that articles on horror films or most films in general don't belong in the "Judge Dredd megazine" unless they have some relation to the subject or ethos of 'tooth/Dredd in general. If I want to read film reviews I'll buy Sight & Sound, Total Film etc. I don't read them and they stick out like a sore thumb, same goes for any music reviews.

Previews/articles of other or future comics/stories/artists/writers are always welcome.

Interviews are great. Small press is okay.

I don't think the meg is crap at all, can't like all stories. Just needs a little editorial tightening.

I thought this weeks Black Museum was badly written, very confusing and devoid of any real story. Sorry.

>"America. I liked it. For me America isn't the highest pinnacle of Dredd story."

America for me is a story line that's unique in all comicdom so in it's own way it's a pinnacle which may definitely be the best Dredd story.

Where else is there a riff about ideals, dysfunctional families & surrogate judge-fathers.

Yeah, the gun on the meg cover looked like a concrete block.

 >The weirdo 'enjoyed' the dead body before he was put it on? did I read that right? .

He had the body impregnated with his own demon seed, I don't think he fucked it, he's not a literal necropheliac.

No, you're not right, Bennet Beeny is in it alright but he's not the chef. He's a stuffed, singing dummy.

I really enjoyed the end of America II, which has some top-notch twisted Wagner spookiness! That's just the sort of thing Benny Beeny would do. The weirdo.

It's America III not II.

***garageman - great find! I liked it so much I tracked it down...***

Thanks, but I'd found it earlier. Pity it's not longer, it's pretty amazing.

***On a different note, this is absolutely the most excruciating (non-physically) painful thing I've ever seen: You have to feel sorry for the presenter here, it's rarely you see someone's entire career come to an end in the space of a few seconds...***

Sorry Ade, it's a fake, performed by Dutch comedians. I knew a guy who actually talked like that, only even higher, after he had cancer of the throat and people did laugh in front of him, for real.
