Not got mine yet either.  Over time, they seem to have got later and later in terms of the gap between the books hitting my account and actually being delivered.  I'm hoping they turn up today or tomorrow though.

Mine arrived yesterday and I am usually a couple of days behind the first recipients on here

Just made a start on Red Razors and......I'm enjoying it!

I think time has been a kind healer: back in the mid 90's I believed that Millar and his ilk were the future. Now I can see stories like this and Purgatory, Frankenstein Division and Inferno as entertaining diversions. Shallow characterisation, naff Tarantino wannabe dialogue, cartoon violence: and do you know what? Knowing that it was just part of a very short lived 'era' I can enjoy it as a guilty pleasure. A bit like a Big Mac.

Natch, mine arrived this morning. I do wish they'd been using this packaging from the beginning. The number of dinged corners has markedly decreased. As for the books, the Razors one is a giant. A pity its contents aren't better. (An Orlok tale or two might have helped.) I'm looking forward to reading The Hunting Party again though.

Over on the Facebook page, a poster reports they've been told by Hachette there's going to be 90 books. Small extension perhaps?

I guess if it was serious they would have posted it properly.  No sign of it.  That said, I'm not sure how I feel about the extension idea.  There have been a few missteps.  I think I would most likely cancel at the end of the original run and see how any extra issues pan out.

If they do run past 80, I hope they provide a breakpoint. Get all the original 80 out and THEN continue. But really, I'd sooner they end as originally planned (well, originally in the sense of 80 – wasn't this set 60 in the earliest days?), and fire up the 2000 AD series as its 'replacement'.

Got mine delivered today really hope they don't go past 80

The behind the iron curtain book is definitely a lot larger than normal

Is there any more news regarding the planned 2000AD Graphic Novel collection? Would love to know how far in advance these series are greenlighted after test runs etc.

So, my latest Mega Collection package arrived today containing  vol 41 The Hunting Party and vol 41 The Hunting Party! Going to call Hachette tomorrow morning and get the correct second volume sent out. Unless anyone receives two copies of missing volume (whatever it is) and wants to do a swap? 😄

Arkwright- if you get a replacement 'Red Curtain'volume sent and want to find a good home for a copy of Hunting Party- PM me and I'll happily take it off your hands for postage plus...

Read the first Red Razors story last night. It was indeed quite bad, but I'd still much rather read Millar's youthful exuberance than his abhorrent "mature" cynicism.

Apologies for interrupting the flow of this thread - just wondering if the two 'Tour of Duty' volumes in the mega Collection are exactly the same as the old Rebellion editions, or if they have extra / different contents? I am enojying the luxury of being able to choose which of two excellent trade collections to pick from to build up my own ideal Dredd library!
