Rebellion had said no

But I guess maybe they were asked if they're promoting it on their website!

Anyone else got a photo from that time with 2000AD tshirt on?

I'm sure I have a couple amongst my Souvenirs somewhere

It's just the same as twonks buying Ramones T-shirts from Urban Outfitters for a million squids.

Now for "DR & Quinch Say: Nuke Your Parents" as worn by Ronnie Reagan.

They could have used a model with a bit of shape.

Peace is a lie, there's only passion.
Through passion, I gain strength.
Through strength I gain power.
Through power, I gain victory.
Through victory, my chains are broken.

Ach, I wouldn't kick her out of bed for eating crisps (not that she ever has).

What other designs would you suggest then?

Rex Banner

'What other designs would you suggest then?'

A re-vamped 'I'm a Fink' one for starters but I would also like to see some of the later stories/characters getting a t-shirt. Assuming most of the t-shirts are bought by current readers of the comic why not a Shakara or Stickleback t-shirt? Or if indeed another Dredd shirt why not a more recent image/artist?

Don't get me wrong, I'm not complaining about the recent shirts in anyway, but it would be nice to have a mixture. Which has been one of 2000AD's strengths over the years, classics backed up with new stuff.

Run a competition, the board itself is full of great artists/designers, see what happens.

Ages ago I suggested something alone these lines

I might yet get around to making these maself... along with a few others I have in mind.

I'd buy one Ump.

And I would not mind paying you 20-40£ for it, because I only buy things that really impress me only considering the rest.

I'd shark out £20 for that though, no probs.

Fuck! I just remembered, I've lost my DEADLOCK T. STOOOOOMMMMM!!!!!!

heh!
I've got that Specials shirt. I got it from Reading festival, home of overpriced merchandise, for about £20. I had the Blondie one too and that was £10 from Camden market if memory serves.

I'm thinking there should be quite a few on the sale rails by mid spring for those who're interested

ooh. I'd buy that top one if it didn't have any other logos on it.

Uncle Umpty, your tshirts are the bomb! On my list of things to get when I get the money.
That model looks very much like a New Order fan

A mate of mine at school got really pissed off at his Mum when she refused to buy him that shirt...

If I had anything even remotely approximating positive cashflow right now I'd be sniffing round e-bay for classic 2th shirts, theremust be some...
