This trailer looks promising. Fight scenes seem to work better and acting, from little we see in the trailer, looks to be improved.

Got the complete series box set on DVD but still need the Peacekeeper Wars, if anyone would like to part with that on its own. I can go to ebay, of course, but just on the off-chance any boarders are looking rid of a copy, I'd rather give them the business.

Any takers?

Just wrapped on The Bridge Season 2. A good run, for sure, but not up to the very high standard of the first season, I felt.

COVER: Thrilltastic!

DREDD: Okay, maybe I'm missing something, but why is Gerhart still alive/ kicking/ talking with only half a face? Is he a droid?

SWEET: Pass

GREY AREA: Very clever little story, this one. I take it that's it wrapped.

ABC: Old-school fun that doesn't make a hell of a lot of sense to me, but doesn't really need to.

DOG: Hurtling towards a close with this one.
Sorry to see Girda bite it...
Well that was a fecking phenomenal conclusion to season one of Luther! Oh my lawds I haven't been so exhilarated by an ending in years, so much so that I've instantly gone out and bought season 2.  :D

Luther's wonderful. Each season's a winner. Enjoy!

Is there any value in playing the first Mass Effect first? Or could you just jump to part 2.

Also, does it work on the PC with an X Box controller?

Could be a contender! I love the Riddick series...

You'd never use a typical controller instead of the keyboard & mouse Hoo-Haa?

If you would, the Dead Space trilogy is your obvious answer.

I don't think there was the option on the copy I have, Prime. Just keyboard/ mouse.

And then there's the jerky graphics...

I believe it works ok with an X-Box 360 wireless controller, but ain't 100% sure.
If you find the graphics too jerky that can't be helped though!

You could skip to the slicker graphics of DS2...the plots so convoluted you probably won't miss much!

DS2 does indeed appeal.

I played all three on PC with an Xbox controller (wired 360 controller - plugs straight into USB)

Ah... that's good to know! Thanks, doc :)

Well, someone else is going to have to help me here, I haven't ever played it even though we publish it haha.

I believe it's an action RPG.  It has dialogue trees which let you make a lot of decisions I think.

I'm going to guess since there are 3 it's pretty decent on PC.

I might give it another whack, if I can grab it cheap.

I gave it a little go whenever it came out. Is it more strategy than shooter? What's the controls like on the PC?
