John Hicklenton at the Science Museum this Wednesday

I wish I could have been there to see it, sounds very inspirational.

Good to hear it's going to be shown on telly, someone be sure to flag it up when and where it's on.

See? That's exactly what I've been talking about.

That image still has the crazy anatomy of latter-day Hicklenton, but it's *well-drawn* crazy anatomy! The detail is just amazing - check out the bald patch on Torquemada's chest where a sticky electrode patch has been ripped off!

Compare and contrast with the swathes of solid black and white that makes up most of BOSIII. Techniques change, I know, but I much prefer this older work and would love to see a return to this sort of form from John.

Either way, I wish John all the best and hope his illness can be treated quickly so he can continue drawing comics for us ungrateful bastards!

Yup JEB's image and Noisy's comments are spot on.  That is a really, really great Torquemada - self-righteous insanity pouring off the page.
