The comic I had the great pleasure of designing, lettering and colouring the cover for is now on sale. Written by Greg Meldrum and drawn by Scott Twells.
Meet Gypsum, Smallpiece, Venables and Tookey – pupils at the increasingly-odd institution known as Blackabbots School. Together, they are The Spencer Nero Club – hardcore fans of 1930s Britain's greatest pulp hero. Find it here... http://www.comicsy.co.uk/martillo/store/products/the-spencer-nero-club-1/

It's all right, that's in every contract.
That's what they call a sanity clause.
You can't fool me, there ain't no sanity clause.

Filippo - is there a digital option for this one?

Greg M.

Was intending to get the digital option set up this weekend, and share some of the interior art for folks. Cheers for the interest!

And here's some interior art by small-press demi-god Scott Twells:

Got my copy and devoured it one sitting!

EVERYONE should buy this. NOW
An old-school, no-bullshit, boys-own action/adventure comic reminiscent of the 2000ads and Eagles and Warlords and Battles and other glorious black-and-white comics that were so, so cool in the 70's and 80's - Buy the hardback Christmas Annual!

Scott is ridiculously good. His art is so deceptive.

I've now read it and declare it Top!

Greg has written a cracking little tale and Scott's work is just so well suited to it. The whole package is rounded off smartly by Fillippo, too.

Happily recommended.

Thank you very much - your verdict is much appreciated!
