Being a big G.I Joe fan and knowing that Keith Burns (The Boys, upcoming Johnny Red) is the master of aviation comics I decided to commission him to do me a reimagining of a scene form G.I Joe issue 34 which is basically a long dogfight between the Joe Skystriker and the Cobra Rattler. Here is the result. Needless to say I'm very pleased.

There's a number of both characters and artists I don't know there Chief but that doesn't stop it all being damned lovely stuff!

Particularly fond of that Supes one and Moloram (is he the bloke from Temple of Doom?)

Thanks. Yeah Moloram is from Temple of Doom. I'm finding that prices for artist at cons (and pre con orders especially) seem to have skyrocketed over the last year or so. With that in mind I now tend to hit the perhaps less well known artists in a bid to save some funds.

Great stuff. That McCrea sure can draw. He was doing a cracking Mars Attacks piece when I stopped by his table. Here's my haul from LSCC. Sadly only one 2000 ad related piece. My timing sucked and I missed the Flint, Willsher and Staples droids at at the 2000 ad booth.

Another piece of brilliance, Chief.

Thanks Link. When I can rummage up some funds I'll be getting the villains version. I also have some potentially cool commissions to pick up at London Super Con in two weeks.

I bought this Trapper Hag piece from Clint Langley at the recent Demoncon convention. He said it was an unused pinup for a SDCC thing.

This one is by sometime DC artist Mike Bowden

Wow. Amazing stuff as always from The King. Here's a commission I got from a random guy I found on deviantart (adhytcadelic) $35 for both b/w and colour images. They are digital files but I'll print them out on good paper.

Quick bump for one last appeal.

I'm guessing the page size is similar to that of US sized comics rather than the larger prog. Does the resizing of material look okay? (for those that have tried the test batch)

I recently started a meg subscription and decided to buy up some back issues. Unfortunately I bought 2 copies of 352 by mistake. If anyone has a 351 (plus floppy extra) and either wants to swap for 352 (it has been opened) or sell it let me know.

Thanks

I picked up these original pages at T-Bub. I'm not a Deadpool fan at all but like Laurence Campbell and liked the composition of this page. Also I got a page of G.I Joe by Gallant & Erskine set at SDCC.

Are they good quality shirts? Do they last when you wash them?

I've had no problems with the prints fading and they've all been washed at least 4 or 5 times each. Quality of material is comfortable as well. They do a more expensive shirt but the £5.99 one has worked out okay for me so far.
