Oh Mighty Hive, your aid is required!

I'm trying to find a full unform shot of a Judge Cadet, and I've not got any of my Megs to hand (The recent Beeny Cadet strip being the one I thought most appropriate)

If anyoone has anything like this to hand I'd be grateful.

Cover of Meg 250 any good?

Tried to get scans from Judge Dredd:Giant Meg vol 2; 50-52 but my scanner's packed in again.

 The judge Dredd story in the early 200s that was one of the crime files that also features the exterior of the Academy of Law.I will have a look for it later but this strip features lots of Bald headed uniformed Cadets being lectured by a one armed Tutor.

 hope this helps as a pointer.

Are there no full shots in Origins?  Could have sworn there were a couple of Dredd and Rico

I've just had a quick look through that Cadet Giant story (lovely art by Gibson) and, in that tale, the cadet uniform is pretty much the same as a full judge's one. The only differences are:

a white helmet;
two shoulder pads (as opposed to one pad and the eagle;)
half a badge (no name on it.)

Hmmm, the best fullish Cadet Beaney picture I could find, other than the cover that Buttonman posted.

It's great to see how the uniform has evolved.http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v76/Wellsy/newcadet.jpg">

The Gibson Giant is in some sort of Rookie (a final year cadet on their evaluation - think probationer) uniform, as opposed to the Cadet uniform.  The two shoulder pads are unusual, but the conventional Rookie uniform is a half-badge (hence the phrase "earning your full eagle") with no name and a white helmet of otherwise regular design.

Cadets usually have more subdued shoulder/knee/arm pads flush with the uniform, a small name badge and the funny flared white helmet seen in Cadet, Young Giant and Necropolis.   This seems to be an Ezquerra design, but note that in Brothers of the Blood, he draws Dolman with the Cadet shoulder pads but a Rookie helmet.  Maybe there are stages within the Cadet-to-Rookie progression?

I wouldn't look to Origins - the cadet uniforms there are too archaic for Beeny.

Aaaand I've just realised it's not specifically Beeny you're lookimg for.  Sorry.

Cheers all. I dug cadet out when I got home last night. Just being lazy :)
