I've not managed to find the Chopper game referenced, but here's a handy list of games that have been published in 2000AD:

It's time to talk about 2000AD tabletop games with my guest Jim Hawkins. We start with the Rogue Trooper board game and go on to talk about the new releases from Warlord Games and the Worlds of 2000AD role playing games.

I really liked Silo, don't remember Crusade and my opinions on non-Wagner/Grant Robo-Hunter are best left in the padded cell in my brain, gnawing at the walls in pathetic, drooling madness.

QuoteAnd I think maybe it's the second part of Mean Team that's bad? This first section has some good action and the brain transplant stuff is inspired imo. It might also being 80s teens being too cool for sports comics? 😁

I think I ended up spoiling this for Fox in a later episode because Tomb of Terror is in the collection with that name.

Early thirties and have been into comics since University - always aware of 2000AD but never really delved into it. After getting the Judge Dredd 01 collected edition I have been working my way through and started subscription to 2000AD! Think I have a lot of catching up to do!
The Mega City Book Club was also a massively helpful thing getting me to take a bigger interest in 2000AD.

Top artist: Glenn Fabry (for his work on Time Killer)
Fabry seemed to be at the top of his game here, with amazing dynamic combat scenes in the arena, and a brand new look for Slaine.

Thanks Conrad for all your hard work! This is the best podcast out there.
I am still reading along with the show and The Mean Team is better than I remember it. I am wondering if I just confused it with Mean Arena in my memory or whether it goes drastically downhill.

Horses for courses. They are pretty good around here, and their tracking works well, with a little online van you can follow around a local map. Their customer support has gone downhill some, mind, since they outsourced everything to India.

Maybe, but there's also an option to set how many posts you see per page. So I'm afraid there's a long way to go!
There is? Where's that then?

Just bought my eldest the 4K remaster of They Live for his Christmas.
Anyone else getting interesting stuff for theirselfkids?
(To be fair, he's watched The Thing, the Alien movies (not Prometheus or Covenant; I love the little guy) and Die Hard, and asked if there are any cool 80s films that have a "Arnie or someone else shooting up aliens")
