For anyone optimistic about WW, beware.

A few months ago, this open letter from an ex-Warners employee hit online, basically slating the Warner Bros CEO for his terrible creative decisions, mostly involving anything to do with Zack Snyder.

Here's the pertinent part about WW:

QuoteMaybe Wonder Woman wouldn't be such a mess. Don't try to hide behind the great trailer. People inside are already confirming it's another mess.

Full letter here:  http://www.pajiba.com/think_pieces/an-open-letter-to-warner-bros-ceo-kevin-tsujihara-about-layoffs-zack-snyder-and-donuts.php

I would take that with a pinch of salt, the letter reveals next to nothing about the plot and seems to be more a angry ex employee moaning due to layoffs. Not to mention its "inside Sources" dont even have a name.

That said as much as i liked BvS, the WW trailer has had little to grab me yet. I love the redesign for Dr. Poison and i really like DC using more minor villains in its films. But the slo-mo seems a bit overused, Gadot is decent actress but im not sure she can carry a film.

Then again the director is good, visuals are decent and here's hoping for an Enemy Ace cameo.

I originally thought it was Devlin Waugh - vampire teeth, 'tache - but on the black and white copy it looks like it calls him a vampire accountant, which would make it Yorga from  Brigand Doom (!) Surely not?
Its Captain Constanza(Not sure on name) from Fiends on the Eastern Front aint it?

Where has the Judge Child Quest slipped to?

i imagine they're holding it back, they already put out two of the early epics, so they probably want to space the others out a bit.

Hey, so im tryin to figure out what series are cannon to Dredd, as in take place in the same universe.

Technically you mean what's part of Dredd continuity, rather than what's canon.[/unhelpful pedant]

Substitue the word 'time' for 'dimension' and suddenly there's no reason the Nemesis/Rogue/Stronty crossovers couldn't have happened just as they did, without the need for twisting ourselves into knots trying to make the various timelines and continuities fit together.

Al Ewing wrote a cracking Dredd tale in Megazine 283 about the Stront crossovers. Brit-Cit have got wind that since the Judgement Day debacle of 2114, Mega-City One has been in posession of secret intel, gleaned from a certain time traveller, about an imminent atomic war in 2150 that's going to wipe out 70% of the British population - and a Brit-cit agent is trying to smuggle the info out of the city.... Basically, the Strontverse was neatly rationalised as one possible future for the Dreddverse.

yeah that would make sense. I had completely forgotten about the Alpha File as well.

Hey, so im tryin to figure out what series are cannon to Dredd, as in take place in the same universe.

It seems more or less confirmed that Strontium Dog is a part of the same continuity as Dredd what with there being four or five crossovers. Although with little to no mention of the past or remnants of the Judges seen in Strontium Dog it could suggest otherwise.

Similarly Flesh! is tied into Dredd cannon through Satanus, but no mention (to my knowledge) of trans-time or anything other than Old One Eye has ever made it into Dredd and vice versa with Flesh!.

I think Nemesis/ABC is intended as an alternate universe and the Satanus moments can probably be explained away via a mix between the time wastes and Thoth's magic.

Finally there's Rouge Trooper, now other than the one crossover i dont think there was ever any implication they were set in the same universe other than the semi recent Warzone which featured a G:I as one of the Mandroids Dredd was working with.

Its all a bit confusing and sorry if im goin on a bit but im just wandering if any proper explanations have ever been given or anything.

I imagine its just gonna be the first half of Day of Chaos, starting with Nadia and probably ending sometime around the point P.J Maybe comes into play.

I asked on the facebook page and apparently the next book is Day of Chaos: Fourth Faction

I read in your blog about the next one. I find it kinda odd they are starting with the second story rather than the first

Im guessing this is so they can put Our man in Hondo out along with the first Shimura stuff to begin the Hondo City stuff.

Yes it was an interesting choice...

I'm not sure how well Our Man From Hondo will sit with the Shimura stuff. But yes it could be in there.

I seem to remember Sadu getting a brief mention at some point in the first story so it may make some continuity sense at least.

I hope they print all the Blood of Satanus stories in one book - I'll buy that one!
Question, do most people hate BOS III, because i really liked that story but i never see it mentioned anyware other than one or two negative reviews.

If Judge Child is 163 pages (thanks Barney) what else could be packaged up with this issue?

Maybe the first Fink story?

The wikipedia page says Judge Child is coming out after Shimura.
