I originally tried to register with just my first name but the system wouldn't let me. A moderator told me I would be able to change it to what ever I liked once my account was set up, but as it turned out you could only do that once you got full posting rights.

By then I had already made 50 odd posts as "Magnetica" and so never changed it.
