Going to see this again at the cinema on Thursday after already seeing it on opening day. On first viewing I came away quite happy. It wasn't the Alien film I wanted, but at least it was an Alien film on the big screen.

I suppose expecting it to be as good as either of the first two was asking a bit much...

What a terrible movie, rather pathetic attempts to replicate the action from previous Alien films mashed up with pointless backstory which damages the original film.
