Sod postcards, give us t-shirts! Nice quality natural colour ones with those prints, or even any of the teaser ones, then we can wear them and when someone says "Hey, nice t-shirt" we can think "Bwa hahaha, gaze unwittingly into the face of Fear", or similar  :D

So yeah, damn nice images, would be nice to have them as "something".
NEGOTIATION'S OVER!

Just read the latest episode.

You know, that probably would have been one of the all-time classic 2000 AD cliffhangers, had those stupid images and all the attendant publicity at the news sites and Facebook, etc not spoiled the moment three days ago.  Grrrrr.

Just read it myself, and I agree, the impact was greatly lessened by a week's discussion.  The perils of the information gossiping age

That said, knowing what was coming made Haldane's journey into the vault incredibly tense.  And it's still a fab idea.  I love that these three clowns can still exude such an air of menace when all that's ever actually needed to bring them down is some hi-ex and a vacuum cleaner.

Without their Sisters, shields, teleporters and d-jumps what are they really?  Zombies that fart out soul-gas when they die?  But still, the idea of those monsters stalking through the chaos of the burning city... brrrrr.  Wagner is the god of tension.

Although surely there's no reason for ANYONE to take them out of their plasteen tombs? Much less some person who is really only flaunting their political power coming from the Chief Judges Office. Not as if they are Dredd or the head of Psi/Tek Division who might have a reason.

TordelBack

A member of the Chief Judge's personal staff shows up with an official inspection warrant in the middle of a huge crisis and you're going to quibble with his methods?  Especially when you're just some eejit transferred from Traffic whose just had most of his staff seconded to the end-of-the-world party..

I would have thought that after the ease with which Kraken was able to gain access, security would have been a lot tougher to break. Surely some kind of standing order would be in place: "no Judge is to be given access to the Dark Judges without the person in charge contacting the CJ directly for confirmation." If yet again a judge is allowed to turn up and say he's on orders from the CJ then nothing has been learnt from Necropolis.

And that Prison in Judge Dredd (1995) film got big machine guns?!? So nothing like that in Dark Judges room? :(

Exactly. They need to be kept safe so really the only person with the power to do anything with them would be the Chief Judge. How does the guy on the desk know that Hardiman has permission to go there, as he obviously doesn't as the Chief Judge DIDN'T send him.

Kraken could have got through any checks though surely, being the same genetically and as we have said, looking like and being the same height as Dredd ;)

Of course this might be mentioned next week (similar things have indeed been answered in the following prog in previous big stories) but the security is a rather weak point with this. Depends on what he is actually going to do with them after all though. Because you think of it. They have all been captured really easily in the past. All you need is a spirit trap/Boing/powerful Psi judge and they are trapped and that's that. The only reason they didn't get Death originally was that he hid. So I'm thinking either the utter chaos and the fact that the Judges are busy is the main reason for mass death or they have gained some additional powers (maybe get given new force field devices etc). Personally I'm hoping for them accidentally finding the lairs of Total War etc and them being the first casualties :p

It could be that Hardiman has been playing a long game.  Being in the CJs office he could have orchastrated the assignments to the Containment facility so that when the chance came to make the break he wouldn't be questioned.

Don't click links on sites/forums that have the word TEASER on it then. It wasn't that hard to avoid either.
