Select your two favourite droids form the list of 10 below (I know, I know. No one said it was going to be easy) pop those names in a post in this thread and in three days (Friday 30th October) I'll count up the votes and the two droids with the highest counts will qualify for the tourney proper when it starts.
So that's nominating your 2 favourite droids by clearly naming them in a reply to this thread... want to know more. Well there's some linkies below the list.

Anything else just ask and I'll make something up.
At least an easy round for me:
Eric Bradbury and Glen Fabry
I think we all know who's going to storm this round.
Glenn Fabry, of course. Accompanied by Sean Phillips for his sublime turn on Swimming in Blood.
Glenn Fabry. Slaine the King.
Sean Phillips. Devlin Waugh.
The easiest choice so far.
Glenn Fabry.
For, as others have said Slaine The King. Just magnificent. (He wasn't suited to Dredd though, but I'll over look that).
I will leave it at that.
This is super, super hard. Fabry's Slaine was amazing. Sean Phillips is just brilliant. But how can I not choose Steve Parkhouse, or Sola's fantastic dinosaurs, or Ormston's weirdness or Eric Bradbury's old school excellence?
Fabry and Phillips
Can't be anyone other than Glenn Fabry and Sean Phillips for me :)
Glenn Fabry and Eric Bradbury.
SBT
Aaagh another round with with outstanding talent. I think I know how this will go, but I'm gonna plug for:
Sean Phillips & Steve Parkhouse
Ramon Sola! Love that guy's twisty flesh and weird angles so much.
And yeah, Glenn Fabry.
Feel really bad about not having space for Steve Parkhouse, though.
Sean Phillips.
Glenn Fabry.
Eric Bradbury
Glen Fabry
Eric Bradbury.
Steve Parkhouse.
Sean Phillips
&
Glenn Fabry
Bradbury & Fabry for me.
Fabry and Philips.
Parkhouse, Azpiri
Tough one... Steve Parkhouse is so good, but it's got to be Phillips and Fabry
Torn here. Steve Parkhouse would be through in most other groups. His expressive b&w cartooning would be enough on its own but add in the beautiful colour work he did on Summer Magic and, you know what, he gets my vote and Phillips loses out.
Glenn Fabry is the only artist to draw leather better than Bolland.
Now sure here as the voting is gloriously spread, I think, so any difference is hard to tell. Your vote could well therefore really change things so get it in before the morning and I'll count things up then.
Fabry (his older stuff) and Phillips (his later stuff).
(Although I'd also like to include Parkhouse, Bradbury and Sola).
VOTING CLOSED
Another one with clear winners who wouldn't have been those I'd have voted for (I'd have gone Steve Parkhouse and Dean Ormston), but the two who went through richly deserve it. I'll be honest I didn't think Sean Phillips work for Tharg was as strong as some of his later work... but then you think Swimming in Blood and I realise that's poppycock so massive congraluations to
Sean Phillips
Glenn Fabry
