Great stuff again this month, and lots of nostalgia. Thanks too for the kind comments about my entry.
1: Andy Lambert - Survival Geeks: Trump City. Knocked my socks off, this one. The clear winner for me.
2: Adrian Bamforth - Mind the Thrills, Marlon! Brilliant. Made me root out the ol' progs for a DR and Quinch fix too.
3: Mightybren - Let the Tea Fluids Flow.  Great job evoking the humour of the story. Gunderson's looking great, lovely composition and energy too.

HM:
Mark Higgins - DR and Quinch get arrested,
MikeD - Ace Trucking Co,
The Legendary Shark - Bonjo

Big thanks to CFM for all the hard work every month.

That is such bad news. Steve Dillon formed a major part of my comic reading life, from Mean Arena and Dredd, right through Preacher and beyond, and he was a major influence on me. There are just too many great comics he was involved with to mention here. What a legend of comics, and so young! So sad to hear the news. My sincere condolences to his family and friends.

Great stuff, guys.  (Brian - I'd be happy to see you illustrate a new Ace story.)

Looking forward to the Bampots one - I love the Bampots, me; despite being terrified of them when I saw them first.  I must have only been 7 or 8 at the time and I asked my brother what happened to them - he thought I was referring to the mushroom people of MC1 and told me they had a disease. Afterwards I lived in mortal fear of losing my entire body (bar much-withered arms and legs) to this disease.

Cheers, Jayzus (There's a phrase I never thought I'd hear myself saying), thanks for the compliment!

Loving the Bonjo, Mr. Shark! Fantastic!

1st Mark Higgins - Stealth Rogue. This is just gorgeous.
2nd IAMTHESYSTEM - Rogue reflections. Lovely Cam Kennedy-esque feel to the dead souther in the water.
3rd Whatley - Rogue Trooper. I want to see what happens next!
4th Stephen Burgess - He's gone rogue. Nice simple idea, well executed.
5th Andy Lambert 2 - Dreamweaver. A real classic feel to this.

Amazing stuff this month. I reckon the top 5 are all worthy winners, so hard to put one above another.

1: Andy Lambert - The night the law died. This one hit me like no other, such a great homage, so atmospheric and beautifully executed. And as MikeD said, love the boot.
2: Echidna - Self-destruct. There's so much potential energy in this, just fantastic. You really feel Dredd straining for that button and oblivion.
3: Adrian Bamforth - Dredd and Vienna. What better way to finally show Joe's face.
4: Nic Freeman - He ain't heavy. Great style, just 'right'.
5: Mark Higgins - Judge Dead. Beautifully done. What a talent.

HMs:
Saint of Killers - Death of Dredd. Superb image, would have loved to include in the top 5.
Steven Denton - The old judge.
Uwe DeWitt1 - Death of Dredd.
Trevor Denham - Dredd and the dragoons.
James Newell - The full weight of the law.

Well done to all and a big thanks to CFM for all his efforts.

Here's my entry. Sure wouldn't it be a bit of an apocalypse, now, if ol' Joe popped his clogs? Ahem...

Ha ha yeah been getting a bit of stick over the ship alright - it's General Cannibal's cabin cruiser! Blame Ian Gibson! I somehow managed to take the cool 'scorpion-y' look away from it and replace it with the whole 'penis-y' thing. Sad fact is never noticed it myself... must be getting old.  :-[

Halo Jones was always one of my absolute favourite stories, but I've always been glad Halo's tale ended when it did (controversial, I know), leaving everyone wanting more. I thought it was a great ending, knowing that she would go on to greater things but never finding out what they were. What a great idea for this month's theme, it's been fantastic to see the various takes on where she went. Thanks everyone.

1: Adrian Bamforth - Halo, Space Pirate.
The clear winner for me.  Halo looks damaged and cold, just like where she was headed when we saw her last.  And very cool.  Nice to see the return of Toby. Makes we want to find out more.
2: Mark Higgins – The Ballad.
Skills. And I'm a sucker for nostalgia.
3: Tulio Vilela 1 – Halo Jones meets Abelard Snazz.
Great to see a more light-hearted take on things, and Tulio draws a great Halo.

HM: allied72 – Robinson Jones
The Legendary Shark – More things in Heaven and Hoop
