Hi there Matty,

Rummaging through my duplicates I have the following:

250, 251, 293, 297, 298, 308, 310, 317, 318, 321, 322, 323, 346, 405

None of them have newsagent markings on them.  I do have 262 and 426 as well but they both have names pencilled on the cover so I know they won't be any use to you.

Let us know if you're interested.

Cheers

There a reply to a post on the Facebook page.  Question was asked about comments made when ringing the call centre.  Response has come from the Mega Collection.

I'm in two minds on this.  Although there has been an uptick of late, some of the volumes have not been a great choice to showcase the best of the Dreddverse.  Maybe they will address some of the shortcomings / omissions.  If that is the case then it'll be worth it.  Otherwise I think I might cancel my subscription and pick up the volumes I want on eBay.

Political thread is spilling out, again.  ::)

Ever notice that this only seems to happen when the threads are next to each other?

Obviously there is a limit to how much any one thread can contain.  Must also be a leaky edge to the Threadjacking thread.  Better get the mods to have a look and see if they can spot where the hole is.

Funnily enough I just picked up the latest issue but haven't looked at it yet.

You sure it was 2000ad you picked up then?   ;)

"nah, nah nanananana Nah nana nana Swap Shop."

Them were the days.

On a more serious note, I'll have a gander.  It is possible that I might have some spares of these.

Hang on a second .... this is the Political Thread, not the Squaxx telling jokes thread.

Can we please have a sense of decorum?

Thank you.

Sorry, childish I know.

Impressive.  10 minutes of ranting about a comic that you hate.  Not to mention the £4 spent buying the comic you hate.  At least he gives some bland reasons why he hates it!

Looking further down his list of videos, there is one where he posts a congratulations for America electing Trump as president.  Perhaps he does comedy and irony incredibly well?

Oh come on.  This has got to be trolling.  Are you honestly telling me that this Sloan Ranger mentality exists.  Seriously.  This has got to be the product of a fertile imagination.  The LBC presenter fell for it hook line and sinker.
Yes. I am honestly telling you that this Sloane Ranger mentality exists, & its wilfully naive to think that this mentality doesn't exist. Why has it got to be the product of a fertile imagination? Why do you think we are in the mess we are in?!?

You know what, I need to apologise.  Sarcasm doesn't work too well online at times.  You are absolutely right, the fact that this kind of mentality exists is why we are in such a bind at present.  That was my point, albeit badly made, that we could even consider such a caricature to be real.  Even more disturbing, that it was not a caricature but a real live 'human being' who would even consider such a point of view.  Clearly we live in parallel universes where such thinking is appropriate.

Bit difficult when the first you realise is when she's walking down the drive and the kids are playing out front.  Might look a bit suspicious grabbing the kids and saying 'quick, hide under the sofa 'til she's gone'.

This has to be a close second to my necropost the other day about the flatulent dog. ;)

Not entirely sure that May is offering EU citizens the rights they currently have.  She said 'the same as UK citizens'.  Worth remembering that there is no such thing.  We are all subjects of the crown.

Valid point.  There is a very, very narrow definition of who might be included at times, particularly with this shower.  Quite a few naive supporters have discovered the 'truth' over the last few years.  Unfortunately not enough yet.

Congrats to you all.  Nothing beats childbirth as a contraceptive (always remember the midwife asking about that after our first!) but maternal instincts can be powerful.  Being a father is probably one of the best mind altering substances in the world!
