why's it on DC artboard?

I've previously bought a few pages from The Dean of Horror and can confirm even non-Vertigo pages were pencilled on Vertigo art-boards
He probably likes 'em!

I know Greg Capullo (current Batman artist) isn't keen on the stock that DC provide; I've seen a bunch of his pencils on Image branded boards. Preference thing for artists I guess.

The 2000ad Ormston page that I own is on DC board. I guess, like Link Prime said, that he has a preference for it.

You should definitely get a page from him by the way Mark- he's fantastic.
I've been chasing some of his stuff from The Unwritten as I'm a huge fan of that comic, but recently bought a page from The Darkness (despite having never read it) cause it featured a cool and gruesome resurrection.
Great artist.

I got that top one (Apocalypse war) signed by Carlos and Wagner during the summer and I have the Judge Child one as well. They really are very nice.
