Just thought I'd mention I've started a new Mothman About The House comic strip on my website, there are two episodes up so far with a new one every sunday. Mothman gets involved in the notorious Philadelphia Experiment!

Thanks fellas! Mothman is more of a glider than a flyer, his arms can unfurl when he needs them too. But these days he usually uses the folds to hide his Werther's Originals from Sasquatch.

I see that you have designed it to your own modifications.

Though it's been described alittle differently by different people whom have claimed to have seen it.

"Shaped like a man, but bigger, maybe six and a half or seven feet tall, with big wings folded against its back,"

Others have described it as not having a head, but the red yes ( Again!!) that glowed from it's upper chest area. Like in the picture below.

After finding the original Ulysses 31 pilot episode a while back, I discovered this rather impressive project, a pro-musician has scored and re-recorded 9 of the best incidental music pieces from Ulysses 31  (The originals are thought lost). Complete with full orchestra and modern instruments. This must be heard to be believed:

Yeah I based him on an amalgam of various different drawings of mothman, the red eyes and dome head are usually constant, sometimes he has full on wings and sometimes big underarm flaps. I tried to make mine a bit crap and not very scary at all. He's a disgruntled gingerbread fiend!

I had this vision of Mothman- bitten by a radio-active moth timid teenager now transforms into Mothman! Fighting crime in the dead of night!
But is constantly distracted by street lamps. Allowing all atrocities to carry on regardless.

Obviously a more original concept is yours, focusing on the "fortean manifestation" from folklore. Who possibly just sees the aerodynamics  as, "me bingo wings" :)
