Would have been better if the art hadn?t looked like the first thing Christy Brown ever drew when he picked up a paintbrush with his left foot. Sheesh, Some people are never pleased, I'm glad he never had to draw an eagle :P

Logan, is that a new '79 logo? It looks different, but I can't say why.

I liked the art. It reminded me of Paul Dini (Animated Batman design, Mad love comic) but not as polished. Some of the pages would have benefitted from being in colour to add more definition but hey, you cant have everything.

Thought I should stand up for it, seeing as it is getting panned in general.

Marbles, that is a beautifully constructed panel. The detail looks amazing at that size. If it was from Johnny Red, does that mean it is a John Cooper panel or Joe Colqohoun? Looks more like Colqohoun but I never read battle so I'm not so hot on that work.

Noisy, check prog 2000, the Alpha strip in there features the skimmers quite a bit. Used it myself for refs not long ago.

Seeing this header reminded me to tell you lot about Anthonys work on Scooby, Dooby DOOO!

Picked up an issue for Tom (4) for the boat to France and he really enjoyed it.

The art was clear, no fuss and the storytelling was everything you could want.

My only let down was on the inks. Generic american look is the best way I can describe it.

Still worth a read though.

Due to the crappy monitor I had I have been off line for a few days, only just seen this.

Hats off to Slips for doing the results and I too am surprised to see Synnamon voted worst.

Maybe next year we could organise a secret ballot? Or maybe not.

Be better to get this ready to be voted for in Jan as well. It all feels a bit late for me.

Krusti: As nice as it would be to have this done quickly by multiple art types, get one to do the whole thing. There is a lot of room for contradictions of costume there.
