Books & Comics / Ashes Kickstarter campaign
20 November, 2011, 05:34:15 PM
Anybody ever read a comic a few years back called Smoke, by Alexi De Campi and Igor Kordey? Alex has wrote a sequel but needs to raise cash to pay an artist, Jimmy Broxton, to draw it:

http://www.kickstarter.com/projects/563903391/ashes-a-graphic-novel-by-alex-de-campi-and-jimmy-b?ref=live

There were pledge rewards listed to obtain North American and European trade rights but Kickstarter asked Alex de Campi to remove them from view, if anybody has a few grand floating around. :P

Help! / Hivemind help - Dinosaur transfers?
27 October, 2011, 08:09:45 PM
Please help me Hivemind! When I was a kid, there were dry transfers available that came with sweets (I think). The transfers were cavemen fighting different dinosaurs, they were pretty gory too. Anyone remember these?

General / Poached by Tharg!
07 June, 2011, 10:56:24 PM
There was a thread recently discussing 2000AD droids working for the American comics for financial reasons. What if the tables turned and 2000AD hads pots of cash to throw around - who would you like to see from America and Europe working for Tharg? And think about  the contributions from Mike Fleisher, Frank Miller,Sam Kieth or some of the cover work on the Simon & Schuster editions before you answer...

Other Reviews / The Bendetti Vendetta collection
06 May, 2011, 09:27:20 PM
It's out. No extras, no covers, the publisher credits and creator credits are printed inside the covers. I've never read this before so I'm really looking forward to this. John Burns art looks like a perfect fit.

Sorry for asking a stupid question but what do the stars under the user names mean? I don't see it mentioned in the profile sections.

It was nice to see that new Gerry-Finley Day Rogue Trooper story recently, but would you like to see more of him in 2000AD again? Not writing Rogue Trooper etc., but creating new thrills?

A question for the French Boarders or anyone who reads French comics: Where do you buy them from? I asked this on the now cancelled Standard Attrition forums and was told Amazon.fr, but is there anywhere else, any place better? Thanks for the help!
