Hello all of you creative people!
For the last few years my brother and I have been producing small press comics under the umbrella of Massacre For Boys. We currently produce the classic war comic inspired 'Walking Wounded' and the classic British boys' comic inspired anthology 'Massacre For Boys'.

We would like to make the Massacre For Boys anthology a more regular comic but to do that we would need more contributors. Writters, Artists, colourists, letterers, the lot!
MFB presents strips can be about pretty much anything, we have had war strips, sci-fi strips, a football strip, Edwardian paranormal detectives, super hero strips, even a strip about an animal hat maker. Some funny some 'serious' but all with a classic UK comics flavour.

Would anyone hear be interested in contributing to something like that?

It's all right, that's in every contract.
That's what they call a sanity clause.
You can't fool me, there ain't no sanity clause.

Just been to the site and read 'The Glasshouse', which features the finest use of the exclamation 'Egad!' I've ever seen.

Would love to contribute a script or two...

What a fantastic response, thanks everyone  :D

Writers - when you're ready to submit scripts/ideas, please email them to Steve and I.

Artists/Colourists/Letterers - So we can get a flavour of what you're about please email us some samples.

Oh, and you can DM either of us to get the necessary email addresses.

@Engimatic Dr X - One offs might be the best idea, initially, but recurring would be ok too, provided it's no more than 4 parts maximum.

@Temponaut - thanks for your kind words re: The Glasshouse. It's my favourite MFB strip of all.... so far.

I'll send pages from my comic strip for THE DOGHOUSE fanzine later this month (upon its completion), which covers my scripting, b/w artwork and lettering.

I have a fine example of my line art (cover art for a SCREAM! fanzine) complented by some retro colouring ready to send. What e-mail address should I use, Steve?

Send any exampels of your work to steve@massacreforboys.co.uk or/and chris@massacreforboys.co.uk

I am devising a new and inventive process for matching up creators even as we drink and type this.

I'm really happy with the response and I'm looking forward to working with you guys and publishing some cool and unexpected stuff!

Long deadlines assured!

We'll see how things develop, but there's going to be an absolute minimum of 6 months before we think about going to press...
