I like white witches, me. Oddly enough, there's been a coven, I suppose, of them based near the small Midlands Irish town where I grew up for as long as I can remember. While we were all bored shitless at Mass they were up the hills dancing round fires in the nip for Samhain and Bealtaine.

A girl I know pretty well joined them years ago and seems happy as Larry there. A couple of years ago after a local priest blessed the new playground she was asked by the council to give it a pagan blessing too. The times they are a-changin'.
