it's really just the legal kerfuffle of getting each publisher to sign off on it happening
You have greater faith in this group of people than I do, clearly.

Backwards compatibility will be very very limited, so don't go buying an armload of 360 games just yet.

Sorry you are clearing things, hope its for good reasons.

Those Love and Rockets are soooo tempting a series I've wanted to get into since getting back into comics buit been waiting to blunder into a good opportunity... is this it?...
Absolutely, yes. If I didn't have the two monster-sized collections, I'd probably bid for them myself - I once had a mostly complete run of the original, and kept up with them through their new stuff. Then when they announced they were bringing back L&R because their dumbass fans couldn't follow them to a different title, and just wanted more Maggie and Hopey stories, I was sad but still got the first few issues of that. I don't think their hearts were in it by then though.

The original run of Love and Rockets is as good as any comic has ever been, though, so bid I say.

I am so happy you posted that page!

http://in5d.com/saturn-why-are-we-worshiping-the-cult-of-el/

The first bit says "why do so many people get married on Saturday, and why do Saturday marriages cost more?" Evidently, the thought never even crossed his mind that perhaps the best answer would be related to more mundane concerns like getting time off work for you, your spouse and any guests you might want to invite. Plus, places that hold weddings know this and charge more for weekend events.

It's that sort of rigorous truth that has already got me believing in a cult of Saturn or whatever the hell it was! Well done, in5d!

The Borg are coming!
I did love how that page tried to start off normal, gave it its best shot, then about halfway down went

QuoteThe first thing that comes to mind is the cube shape and how the cube is tied to Saturn, which in astrotheology is "Satan" which I go into a lot more detail in the article, "Saturn – Why Are We Worshiping The Cult Of EL?".

Bless 'em.

I'm always a bit wary of photos and videos with the photographer pointing at the weirdness with their hand. People don't usually point when they're filming / taking photos, because they're already pointing the camera right at the thing.
"Yeah, right there's where you need to CG in the ridiculous space-cube, just as we're all making the noise on cue".

Terrible sounding film in "terrible" shocker

Please, the world, stop with talk of franchises and universe building and all that gubbins. Just make good films. Re-release the old ones if you like, send them on cinema runs and make a few more quid for no outlay. But not this.

Actually, I have no tablet, and have never got on with reading anything longer than a magazine article on my phone. Plus, I detest Amazon - is there a "creator gets most of the £££" alternative site you could sell it through?

Pick Up Summer (1980)

Pre-Porky's, this is what summer T&A movies looked like. Wacky hijinks, plenty of boobs, terrible plot (about a pinball tournament, for some reason) and...nah, I got nothing. But it's on Youtube, and you can share my sadness by watching it.

Sorry, you're looking for the "post a picture of a director" thread. This is "Last Movie Watched".

It might have been me who recommended "Balls Out" - decent movie, innit?
