Quick German question

I have wiki'd this quickly, but I'm not entirely sure. If a German surname has "von" in front of it, would you say "von Storch says" or just "Storch says"?

But the answer is that you would indeed use the 'von', the surname being a description of from whence a person's family originates in the same vein as Mac, ap, O' and their ilk.
