I beleive teh current situation is that New Lien now own the rights to the film, but that someone else owns distribution rights - and that is what is now being negotiated for.

As for the scouring, I can't see how it could have been included without another hour of movie.  It's importance is in how the hobbits have changed over the time, and re-focuses story on them.  

As for the endings of the movie, only the last one felt too many for me...

Well Hi and thanks to everyone I met, though I didn't hang around for long post-wind up... serves me right for going along on my own.

Simon Colby sketch of Mean Angel - it was better than you thought and I hope Carlos didn't think you too much of a fanboy ;-)

Steve Yeowell choosing to draw Zenith, because he was in the groove.

Simon Davis doing sektches all damn day.

And boo cook.  What Can I say, other than Zombies... Did any get and "officialS" 2000ad drawings out of him.

Missed Dom and Jock.  And I must have been the only person not to get a Carlos sketch.

There is a problem with formatting being used in the title of a thread.

If the title is truncated in the message hierarch (e.g. like this...) then you can lose the end tag from the formatting.  This results in the whole message being in that format.

See the recent firekind poll for an example of this.
