to get it right you have to reply to one that is not in itallics

Devons Daddy

yes it was a forgotten classic.

i was too young?not aware of its underlying message and character driven ideas to really understand it the first time. plus the missing episode it all sort of went belly up, but as a collected edition it was a a shining light of the examples of 2000ad pushing the limits in a comic.

super art work, and brillant script. a pleasure to read again and the EE is the perfect medium for such a tale.

I AM VERY BUSY!
PJ Maybe and I use the same dictionary, live with it.

NO 2000ad no life!

Dan Dare will return for a new adventure soon, Earthlets!

Art

Bah, I'mnot in my twenties anymore. However I enjoyed it, despite having to wade through masses of captions. It had a nice 70s social SF feel to it, and some cool touches, though "Classic" probably stretches things a little though...

Also, if anyone was expecting many dragons they'd be a bit pissed off by it wouldn't they?

Devons Daddy

well if its dragons they want then should have set it in wales.

but i do feel it was very under rated in its first run.

ok im confused i just cheaked the results:
Yes, it's should have a high place on the 2000AD Wall of Fame! 25 48 %
It's alright, not a classic though. 22 42 %
Nah, it's duff-a-roony! 5 10 %

does that mean only 53% of total people who can vote have voted? or what

Read it over the weekend and must say it's far better than i remember.

Not a forgotten classic, but definitely worthy of a second life.

I just got this at the weekend and I still love it.

I haven't read it in years but man, Paul Marsahll did a fantastic job on this!I don't believe he ever bettered this stuff.

Looking forward to the next John Smith/P Marshall colaboration!
