I came across an article regarding Marvel Comic's Battleworld event that is currently running. Apparently there is an area in Battleworld not unlike Mega City one...

Here's the article:

COMMANDO FORCES

I bought this issue, under orders from SBT and yes that's Dredd and Anderson and if I'm not mistaken, the vehicle to their left, behaves a wee bit like Mek-Quake!

JamesC

Yes, I bought this knowing nothing about the MC1 parody. Certainly raised a chuckle!

Zarjazzer

I ordered it after hearing about it on another thread. looks ace! Hurry up delivery person... :|
The Justice department has a good re-education programme-it's called five to ten in the cubes.

Looks like Punisher skulls on the shoulders instead of eagles...

'Life isn't divided into genres. It's a horrifying, romantic, tragic, comical, science-fiction cowboy detective novel ... with a bit of pornography if you're lucky.' - Alan Moore

I would like to think that Boss Cage is not a very good representation of Judge Dredd with his use of electro-torture, but I can think of two instances where Dredd used this very method of torture. One was on an Asian holy man, the other was a war veteran amputee.

TordelBack

Wasn't Boss Cage (and his Mondo City) co-created by Kev Walker over in Thunderbolts a few years back? I'm a little unsure how I feel about what looked like an amusing straight-up Dredd parody in a time-travel caper becoming a recurring Marvel character, even when penned by one of Tharg's own.
