I'm having a big clear out of comics/annuals to make room (and help pay for printing) for more Hibernia collections that are incoming! In the process I found a few (literally) House of Daemon, they are in the shop now if  anyone is interested, here http://www.comicsy.co.uk/hibernia/

TB, that's not too far removed from my Dad, my Mam is more even handed. That said, even though he does't like some of the EU regulations, he sees the benefit and the market (farming background) of the EU. You would be hard pushed to find anyone agreeing with an Ireland Exit out west (my experience) except for John Waters and Co!

Mike White, Roy of the Rover artist, worked on probably every boys IPC titles, including Action and Battle and he did quiet a bit for 2000AD.
Mostly on the Mean Arena, but he really brought some of Moore's best Future Shocks and Time Twisters to life.

I love it! A little 80's but great 80's. Perez was noted for the crowds of supes, I'd love to see him do a Dredd world cover, something like this.

I'll concede his consistent opposition to torture (and he should know), rejection of religious nutters in his own party, his criticism of Putin, and his willingness to cross the floor to vote on matters he supported on principle.  And let's face it, I'd trade him for Trump in a heartbeat.
In American politics this made him nearly a commie.

what's Oisín's meeting with St. Patrick after his return from Tír na n'Óg if not a celtic version of Demolition Man?
Good job Oisín and Tuan managed to travel in time to tell the tales, Sláine would never have existed. Or maybe he would have if he traveled in time. Araaggg!!!

The organisers of the Enniskillen Fest have announced another event in Omagh for the 8th of September. These are great events, and there's a fantastic line up with lots of 2000 AD creators!
I should be there too with a Hibernia table, so pop by and say Hello!

Suggestions / Re: 2000AD Uncensored hardback
« on: 13 July, 2018, 02:27:41 pm »
Actually working on something kind of  like what's suggested. Lots of unpublished art rather than censored, and not from 2000AD, but definitely related. Also included will be two more unpublished pages from Scream.

It was a bit of a thrill talking to Bob Paynter Dan, so glad you liked the 'funnies' piece. My earlies comic recollection is of Cor!! and Shiver and Shake annuals, I've always had a soft spot for them , and some of the seriously off the wall stuff contained in them!
