>Yeah- not to bang on about the SinDex artwork- but this strip is conclusive proof that Photoshop can be used for good or evil.

I agree, the artist is either covering up something or lacks judgement.

I feel that the SinDex art is a bit of a rip-off of the 100 Bullets artist Eduardo Risso, especially the faces.

>Well I sort of agree with that... It might have helped if Blair had not gone totally belly up.

He showed his true colours though: a self santimonious fuck-tart.

>Time for us to take back the colonies, clearly.

Now that would be funny kinda like the film "the Mouse that Roared".

>Well, Rumsfeld, never liked him, but can't see his going changing much, he's the sacrificial lamb.

In this case Rumsfeld is not just a sacrificial lamb, he was always an integral part of Bush's team with Cheney that's why Bush refused Rumsfeld's resignation twice in 2 years. Bush knows that without Rumsfeld his whole enterprise will begin to completely collapse.

Bush now has practically no close allies from his original cabinet on the defence front.

Rumsfeld was forced to go by the military.

Bush is fucked.

>shame really, as his overhaul of the inteligence service was genious, but he should have been let go in 04, that way Bush wouldn;t own the problems in Iraq, and the Republicans would probably still control both houses

What are the good points contained in that statement, please tell 'cos I can't find any.

I think the judges are a bit like all monastic institutions, they know the bold thing happens but it's too difficult a thing to stop and the consequences of trying may be worse in the long run ie. losing many judges, disgracing the department. So like the catholic church it's brushed under the carpet and a puritan image held up for display.

It's more a guide for most and a commandment for stoics like Dredd.

Even Dredd's attitude to Sanchez is ambivalent in this weeks prog, he just dismisses her comment about being monkish. In other words he knows there's fuck all he can do about it really and it's a matter of personal choice as long as it's kept quiet. Sanchez had no trouble expressing her opinion with no fear of serious reprisal. It's too much a part of human nature to suppress.

I'm glad Wagner has brought Dredd and the Judge's story to the "dark place", it truly is an origin tale that explains all. It was always one of the more difficult and intriguing ideas about the judges.
