Which story is this?

Hi,
I'm primarily a wargamer but my 1980's 2000AD's are in storage (we're having a house extension built), and I can't remember a particular Judge Dredd story.
The story features an army of various robots, and from what I recall I seem to think it took place in the Cursed Earth - or some sort of desert anyway.
Does anyone know what story this is/which issues of 2000AD it appeared in?

That'll probably be 'The Cursed Earth' which had a big ding-dong robot battle at the end.
