Help! / List of Released Bound stories.
18 June, 2014, 11:18:10 PM
Hi everyone! So I have recently picked up a bunch of the Dredd stories, like America, and Origins, and Day of Chaos.

What I was curious about was this: Is there a list somewhere that shows what order these go in? I know in the inside fold there are some that show a "What happened before this book" Kind of deal, but I am wondering if there is a list somewhere that has them all in order. If so I would love to see it, and maybe be able to pick more books up to fill my budding collection.

Thanks much!

I have really enjoyed this game. Though I will be honest, the glitches can really make a awesome base go down the tubes fast. Last base I had ended up going down the drain because the engineers felt they didnt have to fix anything. Once the O2 went, it was bye bye base. How many hours do you have in it so far far? Have any really bad bugs?

Thank you again for the warm welcome! I was half afraid that gettin into a comic as long running as 2000ad would be a bit difficult. Sometimes older communities don't care much for the new guy who asks too many questions! I am happy to say that this is not the feeling I get at all from this place :) day of chaos looks sweet, in my desperate hunt for anything Dredd related at my local stores, I found I was best served at the internet. I actualy orderd both current day of chaos books, fourth faction and end game. If I'm not mistake I think an other one is coming out soon? I also picked up both tour of duty books. It's good getting into a hobby an having a job! Hahaha! I hope those were good picks. I plan on getting case files 05 next check.

Role playing is a huge hobby of mine, from dungeons and dragons, pathfinder, to vampire the masqurade. It's a lot of fun. I happen to do online forum rp as well. It's also a lot of fun! I am hoping to learn more about the world of Mega City 1 and run a game out of that, it has soo many possibilities for awesome stories to make. I think I'm rambling again hahaha!

Wow that is awesome! this just keeps getting better and better! Its a shame this place dosent have anything set up for Forum Roleplaying, I think this is the kinda  community that would enjoy that too.

Humm I looked up my local B&N and its a no go on either mag. Which sucks... but ill go prowl my local comic stores and see, its hard being in the middle of the US... everything cool is so damn far away.

Wow, I can tell just by the way you all are talking about this, I am at the tip of a very, very, big iceburg. I never new Anderson got her own stuff, and I havent heard any of the names that were just mentioned. I suddenly feel like I am at the base of a big mountain, or Hab-block.

I would like to dig into it though. If any of these series are just as good as Dredd, then I feel they are worth looking at, it looks like I need to pick up a prog and see the real deal for itself! Its kind of exciting actually, it reminds me of when I first got into warhammer. There is more than meets the eye, for sure.

Judging by your picks so far, you're a man of taste and discernment and clearly don't need our help, Flynn.

Hahaha! Well I dont know how much "taste" I have, but I have spent a lot of time doing some research into this.. not enough to know why its called a Prog, but enough to hear what some people rumble good praises about. So I am sure I will need plenty of help.

I never knew they sold it at Barnes and Noble, thats awesome info and I will take a look at it. I would really like to get into something like this that updates and continues. I also have been convincing my friends of the Awesome that is the judge. Yet I have heard that 2000AD is home to a lot of good reads, though I am totally in the dark to that.

Oh Thanks for the Info Zen. Thats really cool bit to know, now are all the strips in 2000AD in the same... Universe as Dredd? Or totally separate from each other?

Also Thanks again in advance for taking time out of your days to help this newb with his questions.

That is very true. As I have admitted how new to this I am, why is it called a Prog? Oh, and unless I am mistaken, both 2000ad and the Megazine, have Judge Dredd right?

Wow! Thank you all for the information! I will be sure to look at this up. I have been wondering about a subscription, digital sounds cool.. but I am a collector by heart (coins, models, Rp Books, ectra) so I might be willing to shelf out a few creds for the mags to be in my hands. I just dont know if it would be better to go with the Megazine, or 2000AD itself. Thoughts on that?

I will look into total war and Volume 5. I have picked up volume 1, and I have enjoyed it so far, its got that cool oldschool feel to it. I also bought several things online, titles like: America, Tour of duty, and Origins. I was lucky to have Origins arrive so soon, and I loved it. I hope the others will be just as good. I have really liked this series over any other comics I leafed though in the past. Something about the Judge stuck.

Thanks again for the info and making me feel welcome :D

Hello Everyone!

I'm here to admit that I am new to the world of 2000AD and most of its parts. I only recently learned about Judge Dredd and his world by seeing the new movie that came out. I was hooked after watching it and have been looking all over the web to find some good books to read and get a handle on Mega City 1. I must also admit I am new to comics in general, so this is a different kind of endeavor to me. I would love to hear about good Judge Dredd stories to read, and 2000AD in general! It seems like its a really awesome bunch of stuff to get into! The reason I went to this forum is that Im in the states and all my buddies are just as lost as I am when it comes to this stuff. All the same, I hope to learn and get some insite on this awesome group of reads, and not be too much of a pain in the mean time!

Thanks for reading! :D
