Cover is ace. Proper old school thrillage.

My review is over on the 2000 AD and beyond site here: https://2000adandbeyondsite.wordpress.com/2017/12/10/2000ad-prog-2061-review-2/

For my own amusement, I've compared each thrill to a Christmas song to give an indication of my thoughts and enjoyment of each!

*Blush* You're right Steve. If only there was some kind of credit box and two different panels that made it more explicit!  :-[

SuperSurfer

I'm not buying it anyway (for now). Going to try to get to the FP signing on Saturday.

I haven't received it yet but I would echo Pete's love of more Chrimbo material. It appeals to my inner big child.

Thanks for that.

Something Fishy

Has everybody received their copy?  mine was sent Thursday but no sign of it.  wondering if that's just the Xmas post.

Something Fishy

ah just found store orders went second class.  that's why then.

Tjm86

Had mine with the print on Saturday, along with the usual subscription copy.

Something Fishy

I wonder if it went first class because you are a sub?

The Enigmatic Dr X

Deadworld.

Loved it. Maybe reading too much into a Gran Turismo analog, but even I can see the playfulness of Eastwood's name.

I'm kinda sad that this alt-Dredd won't survive. I'd love it if there was some kind of D-Jump escape by some characters. As it is, my enjoyment of this strip is slightly (but not much!) tinged with the knowledge thatm y'know, Deadworld falls. Guess the clue is in the title. And in Judge Death Lives.

Lock up your spoons!

For me the knowledge that everyone in Deadworld is doomed is something that I like about this story. I don't want them to have a miraculous escape. The certain knowledge that there's no hope enhances the story for me. And we still don't know exactly how they'll go out.
