Completely new to 2000 AD

Hi everyone,

I'm from Falkirk, Scotland and new to the 2000 AD universe. After seeing the recent Dredd movie I've decided to read more about the character and history, just waiting on Case Files 2-4 coming from amazon to start.

My first experience with the character was the awful Stallone movie when I was a kid, I guess if you start with that things can only go up! 

I figure once I get more familiar with Judge Dredd I can start branching off and reading more of the other content that 2000 AD does. It can be pretty daunting trying to get started reading a publication with so much history.

I think you've found the one redeeming feature of Stallone's take on Dredd.
