Favourite Dredd stories

This is such a blatant reminder of how richly blessed we have been over the years.  With incredibly few exceptions Dredd has been so consistently high quality over the years that even the most mediocre leaves most of the competition (such as it is) standing. 

Where to start?  Probably endorsing a lot of the choices already made.  I would have to add a shout out for Cam Kennedy's work during the 400's; Midnight Surfer and Shogun.  For the early stuff (first year or so) I would have to go with the Robot War.  Turner, Gibson, Ezquerra on art duty and a hint of what the title could do.  City of the Damned surely has to get a mention for the best trier.  Trifecta for the most off the wall ideas threaded together in a story?  Otherwise I'd just end up repeating what others are saying here.  Best Dreddworld related though has to go to either Simping Detective or Low Life (yeah, got to be Low life with SD as a close runner up).
