I have trouble drawing small and need to learn how to do it!

I recommend as another learner for you to choose an artist within the prog that you like and a strip that they drew and who has a style you feel comfortable with and then choose the smaller panels within the strip to copy yourself [pencil then ink] as its a really good way to learn to draw something smaller within a confined space.

I usually work to the original dimensions of the artwork before it was reduced in size and printed to fit the finished page but there is no harm in going smaller if you feel like it.

I find it also teaches you to scale things correctly to fit within the panel as you have immediate reference right in front of you .

I find this works for me and the more you do it the easier it gets.

QuoteJust copied onto standard paper?

Yep.

This method also has the advantage that the photocopied black lines won't bleed or smudge either. You can also do highlights with white pencil or white ink/gel pen. It's a nice, quick way of doing colour or tone stuff.

Draw and/or ink on Post-its. The world's smallest sketchbooks :)

Good call Peter, I'll try that I think.

Cracking "doodles" by Radiator (again, I should clip that sentence and just paste it after everything) AND advice on materials.  Lovely.  Top work by all.

The Justice department has a good re-education programme-it's called five to ten in the cubes.

Bloody great detail SuperSurfer.

I loved Dante's expression in this Prog

Sorry for bad quality (lack of scanner at the moment) and
lack of breasts surrounding his face.
Reminded me a bit of V's mask.

Appreciate the spoiler-hidin' bit there - still haven't been able to read the last prog. Nice Frasercopy - captured the eyes very well ;)
