No, unless it's a picture of a small box with a red cross in it.

I went off McGruder latterly as I didn't like the thinly veiled Thatcher digs - the Royal 'we', Hilda and of course the senility. Best death ever of course.

"He took the long walk before being killed by Mean Machine Angel. Or was that just a bad dream...?!"

It should be remembered that events in the Dredd film cannot be considered cannon.

They can however be blamed on Danny Cannon.

Did you see...oh never mind.

"So, Fargo...in what circumstances did he die?"

He took the long walk before being killed by Mean Machine Angel. Or was that just a bad dream...?!

Watching it now and the similarities are clear to both Dredd and The Simpsons.

Hutz : After you were thrown out of the seafood buffet what did you do next..?

Marge : We went fishing

Hutz : Do these sound like the actions of a man who has has 'all you can eat?'.

Not had the contest yet hopefully Two Tonne Tony will show up or at least an Arnold Stodgeman.

Look out for 'Sports Night'. Written by Aaron Sorkin he of West Wing fame and starring Felicity Huffman and the bloke off 6 feet under (not the gay one). Comedy drama, set on a sport show, that has nothing to do with sports. William H Macy turns up in Season 2 and married Felicity huffman as a consequence. On DVD and ABC channel on NTL (and probably Sky). Snappy dialogue and great characters.

Also in the DVD domain are 'Sledgehammer', 'Dream On' and the wild 'Mr Show'.

"Hmm...how much was the Wire in the HMV sale then?"

I was in the HMV on Sauchiehall Street, Glasgow and they have The Wire Season One for ?26.99 and Season 2 for ?29.99. They also had the Shield  and Band of Brothers for ?19.99 each.

I am in no way affiliated to HMV and am now going mooching off eBay.

That 10p start price is a touch optimistic, is it not?

I don't know why they do it - probably something to do with the DVD writing technology, but the Simpsons manage to get 6-7 episodes on one side of a disc whereas King of the Hill has three on each side. - Crazy-Loco.

Flipper discs = discs that have programmes on both sides, and no art on the disc themselves. Usually Episodes 1-3 side A and 3-6 side B, meaning I have to get off my fat ass to turn (or flip!) the disc so see the whole content.

King of the Hill is aces although our releases are well behind the Americans who are soon to get season 6. Seasons 1&2 are cracking edition and the extras are on a par with the Simpsons. After that they get no extras and even the dreaded flipper discs.

As for mother she can look forward to a nice plant (?6.99) and some M&S sherry (?5.99).Who says there is no price on love?
