I will be wearing my 'perp' costume.
Just a little rough and tumble, Judge man.

DDT did a job on me

JUDGE BURNS

Fellow Judges, I am in need of some advice for the Glasgow Comic con.....

This will be my first visit to a comic convention. I do have a judges outfit to wear but need to know is there facilities there you can change into costume at all.  ALSO I would like to have a few items signed by various members of the 2000AD panel.  I would like to attend both days.  Can you buy tickets at the door ??

Which day would be best for either ...comments please !!!!

I live only 20 miles south of Glasgow and will travel by train. ( or lawmaster if I can find one)

Buttonman

I don't know for definite regarding changing areas but last year your colleague Judge Russell went back to his hotel to change - whether through choice or necessity I don't recall. Just come up on the train in costume - spread the word and scare some fare dodgers.

As for tickets I'd probably book to be sure - it has sold out in the past, and you can't guarantee the Pete Wells 'free entry' door will be unattended again.

JUDGE BURNS

Cheers Buttonman, I will look into booking tickets to be sure.

GordonR

All/some of your GCC questions (probably) answered.

Tickets do seem to be still available at the door.  But I'd check with the organisers or do the sensible thing and buy them in advance, before I travelled across central Scotland dressed as a comic book character.

Hi, there's 2000AD creators involved in panels over both days :)

I'd also recommend pre-booking tixs - gets you ni quicker too :)

see you there

JUDGE BURNS

I've got my tickets booked . Looking forward. To my first ever comic con.
It's deciding what to bring to get signed by the 2000AD bots that's worrying me now!

The Enigmatic Dr X

To be honest, I'm in this for the drinking.

That said, am I right in thinking there's a 2000ad stand of some kind?

Who'll be there? More important, will there be goodies?
Lock up your spoons!

Cpt Rhodes

As far as I know Colin MacNeil is a guest at the 2000ad table and there are a few other 2000ad droids in attendance with their own tables for signings etc. Schedules and guest locations on attached link.

The programme is quite varied (as it should be) for my limited tastes so I can see me taking in a couple of the talks - only 30 minutes for the Al Ewing one ! - before repairing to the bar. I will of course scour the dealer rooms and hopefully pick up some of the 2000ad Con exclusives.

Mine's a pint Dr X!

No, not of cardiac drugs!
