I'm your no. 1 fan Grugz!  ;)

Great as usual. Encouraging to have more to read through and enjoyed them all.

1. Lobo Baggins - The Informer. I thought the 2 characters and worlds merged most seamlessly here. Both true to original strips but working together.
2. Grugz - Woad you believe it? Made me laugh the loudest!
3. Echidna - Ulysses Sweet. Doesn't need art, I can see the story. Nailed him.

Thanks everyone.

Yeah I agree and I think it is actually the time travel which adds the extra little twist for me.
The secret order fighting hidden enemies down the ages, plus misfit old warriors, plus long-lived cursed/gifted quest seeking girl, plus supernatural/insane insight plus incongruous technology, plus freaky monster enemies = awesome.
But add the rusty old time travelling a.i. trying to do just enough to combat the baddies, but not so much as to disrupt the time stream = zarjaz!

I suspect he was pretending it was on mute and that he heard every word.

Cover: My kids thought it was gross and awesome. I didn't like Anna's face much but otherwise striking.

Dredd: "Sweet grief"? Where's a "Grud on a greenie" when you need one? And why doesn't Anderson look like Anderson?! Weird circular respirator because she doesn't have a helmet. Loving the dark, scary story and the art is amazing, it just doesn't look/feel like Dredd to me. I dunno, loving it anyway. I wonder if the Fab 4 have finally got a decent plan because of advice from PJ? Looking forward to it in one go once it has been collected, I think it has the makings of a good standalone to introduce people to the Dreddverse.

Sweet: Bonkers, violent, silly and fun. Catches a missile. Arsom. Tooth needs these strips and I like it.

Orlock: You got me, I thought he had gone rogue for personal reasons like revenge. Didn't think he was still on the payroll. Orlock still has a lot of credibility for me as an assassin and I've really enjoyed this story. I thought the QR code easter egg was cute and an interesting first, could maybe have done more with it though.

The Order: Best thing in the prog. Loving the historical fantasy sci fi time travel alternate dimension B movie mash-up. Especially the slow drip of backstory. More please.

Savage: Bah, just when I was slightly enjoying Savage for once. Mr one-dimension "I'm a baddun me" brother Jack. I would like to nominate "Oh no, Don't start doing stupid things again!" as the worst dialogue I can remember in the prog. Ever.

What we really need is some kind of open gaming platform that you can buy or easily build yourself from whatever components you like and then just update the parts that need updating to enable you to keep up with the advances. You could customise it to your exact requirements because you would have the freedom to install whatever hardware or software you like. You wouldn't need to throw the whole box away when it becomes outdated and you could even re purpose old hardware for something else. Backwards compatibility would mean all your games would still work after you upgrade, they would probably even run and look better!

If only such a thing existed  ;).

Ha, the final USB port on my motherboard failed before Christmas, so I needed a new motherboard.
Which meant new CPU & cooler & RAM & power supply. But on the plus side I could keep my SSD, Hard Drive, Graphics card, DVD drive, monitor, keyboard, mouse and other gubbins.
I didn't need to replace the case but got this rather nice case anyway which has made my respectable gaming PC basically silent: http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=CA-096-AE

A lot of the fun in having a PC is replacing various bits over the years until several iterations later it is a completely different machine and you never have to clear it with the missus to get a new one!  ;)

Welcome Khybosh,

If you take a ticket from the machine there, then wait on that white line, the old guard will be along to inspect you soon. Nothing to worry about, usual peel back your lips to inspect your teeth, give your flank a smack, that kinda thing. Sounds like you have a good heritage so I'm sure you will do fine.

Dammit, the more I hear of Rebels the more I want to see it!!  Am I right in saying it is only airing on Disney XD at the moment?

I believe that this is officially the case, yes.

You can buy the Intro double episode/mini movie for about £5 in Co-op!
My two 7 year olds and 5 year old love it.
(Although not as much as this 40 year old I fear.)
