QuoteNo Judgement on Gotham?

Yeah, but that's up top - it's the US-sized edition. Putting it in with the bigger trades would be MADNESS.

I've also got the hardback Dredd/Aliens book down the bottom somewhere too. Used to have all the other Dredd/Batman crossovers but got rid of them during my 'I don't read comics' phase  ::), and don't have Dredd/Predator or the Lobo crossover either. Apart from that think I've got most things covered!

James Stacey

As long as there is logic there :) I've got the Dredd/Batman trade with the same spine as Devin Waugh & Shimura. Same height but it's narrower due to it's 'Merican proportions. These things annoy me :D

Didn't realise there was a hardback Dredd / Aliens. I'll have to avoid looking that one out now.

Wow late back to the party (been on me hols) and that is bloomin' lovely! Its this type of thing that makes me think switching to trades might one day be the answer...

Just had a reorganisation of my non-2000ad GNs. There are over 300 now which explains why I'm always skint and should not be let near Amazon when drunk. I need more shelves so I can shelf them all horizontally and include all my 2000ad GNs and annuals.

1. DC
2. Vertigo
3. Ultimate Marvel
4. Marvel
5. 2 x misc

Oh and the lovely sketches are by Kev Levell BTW.

mogzilla

just had a random thought. if you stack all the progs how tall's the pile?

Lovely stuff, love that you took the time to label the photo too! :)

The bookshelf I got was a maple effect 'Billy' from Ikea. Cost around £50 plus another £30 for delivery (too big to fit in our car!). Perfect for trades as you can customise the shelf heights. Nice and sturdy too, far more suitable than my old bookshelf which had a cheap plastic backing that buckled and started to fall apart quite quickly. Can actually line up the books straight now, which is very satisfying for a borderline OCD case like me!

Im jealous of the various setups

I have lots of dc/marvel/image/wildstorm comics but there all boxed up and hidden away in the dark...they only get out when i fancy reading something or im off work for the summer which i would spend sorting out old and new comics.

GN's arent really anywhere near as big as your collections BUT is a work in progress.
loveforstitch - Does he fall in love? I like a little romance in all my movies.

Rekaert - Yes, he demonstrates it with bullets, punches and sentencing.

He's Mega City 1's own Don Juan.

I noticed last week that after 8 or 9 years I'm finally making the 1000 post mark. I had intended to put some pictures for a while and this seem like the perfect opportunity.

I have been working on this room for a long time, I will take a fit and do a week solid of getting boxes, sorting, putting in order and then Ill get fed up and leave it for a few weeks. They art is all in cheap frames, when I have enough cash, Ill get them diplayed properly.
Still a work in progress, this weekend should see more done on it as its fresh in my mind. Picture are a bit crap, but ya will get the jist!

This is the main bulk of the comics. Here there is complete collection of 2000ad including all spin offs, i.e. Starlord Crisis specials annuals.
As well there is near complete collections of Starblazer, Top Secret, Epic Illustrated, Captain Britain, Daredevils, various 2000ad novels, Warren comics and graphic novels etc.

The shelves here have Complete collection of Bullet and a larger run of Warlord, plus my favourite American stuff, like Swamp Thing, Doom Patrol etc. The art on the wall is by Pugh, Belardinelli, Gibson and sketches by Leach, Nolan, Collins, Gibbons, McMahon, Ewins and Miranda.

This is all art, by Belardinelli, Flint, Smith, Ewins, Lopez, Fraser, Kearon.

The art here is by Dobbyn, Ezquerra, Staples, Elson and Higgins.
The comics are complete collections of Battle, Action, Eagle, Scream, and large runs of Valiant, Lion, Dr Who, Star Wars, various Marvel Uk, IPC and DCT comics, plus small press, news titles and Look and Learn.
I still have a few more boxes to bring down from the attic, it might be Christmas before that happens though.

Wow some of that original art is just wonderful. That is a fantastic set up. love the way you have the selves on the Battle, Action etc stuff set to different heights I assume to fit the collection. As nice the way the Judge Dredd game (I think it is) faces out showing that wonderful Bolland cover.

That's the kinds collection that makes me a little jealous!

My wife saw me looking at this thread, and asked, "Is that like porn for you?"

Yes, dear. Yes, it is.

One day I hope to have shelving again. Our house move is still just a medium-term possibility (and a long story) but my comics are mostly boxed now and I dream of an attic or spare room with a wall of thrills.

One day...

The Enigmatic Dr X

Pah! Psh!

I mock your ordered collections. They are the products of weak minded fools.

BEHOLD!

When is a shed not a shed?

When it is a SHED OF DREDD!

BEAT THAT!
Lock up your spoons!

Mardroid

I saw a programme earlier today that mentioned people moving their entire body and bed, and stuff into one of those things.

A shed, I mean not the boxes.

Proudhuff

That maryanddavid has the right idea, comics inside, kids in the shed!!!  :D
DDT did a job on me

COMMANDO FORCES

Look at the way he treats Thargs mighty organ in his Shed of Dredd. It's a disgrace I tell you  :'(
